1. The selected Optical brightener model is inappropriate
At present, there are many models of Optical brightener used in plastics. Different models of Optical brightener have different appearance, melting point, heat resistance, compatibility and weather resistance. Once the plastic manufacturer has not selected the appropriate Optical brightener, it is difficult for the whitening agent to play its full role.
Another important point is to ensure the quality of Optical brightener. After all, the content of whitening agent in the market is uneven, and the phenomenon of shoddy products is emerging one after another.
2. Improper addition of Optical brightener
The amount of any good product added is not the more the better. If the Optical brightener exceeds the recommended amount, it will not only fail to whiten, but will turn yellow, or the whitening agent will precipitate.
However, if the addition amount is too small, the expected whitening effect cannot be achieved. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct preliminary testing on the dosage to find a suitable addition amount.
