This product is the raw material for manufacturing antioxidant 2,6-di-tert-butyl-p-cresol and rubber antioxidant. It is used as disinfectant in medicine, Trimethoxybenzaldehyde as synergist in synthesis of sulfonamides, etc. In addition, it can also be used to manufacture paints, plasticizers, flotation agents, cresol acid dyes and pesticides.
